I was very apprehensive about using protein powder. I have no idea why. Perhaps I thought it wasn’t for me or not necessary or that it would taste nasty. After doing some googling and a good bit of research plus speaking to friends who are trainers or train I felt perhaps I should be taking protein powder as a supplement. Still wasnt sure if it was going to taste nasty or not. This weekend I took the plunge and bought the smallest bag of Whey Protein I could. Which is fricken expensive. The next morning before my workout I made a shake. Damn that was tasty. After my workout I made another shake. Still tasty. I immediately went out and bought the big container of Whey protein. I also got a discount card because dame that shit is expensive, So I give the chocolate flavor 2 thumbs up. I will try out some of the other flavors as I go on for variety but as I am a creature of habit I will probably stick with chocolate. It will be a few weeks before I will really say it is helping with my weight training. I think it is but will need to see results.
